The Town was Usual Enough model...

The Multicultural Festival was usual enough,
It had a fun fishing hole, a bike station, Mr Cole’s corn hole
and a zombie shoot out.
It even had a bouncy castle.

My friends and I did what kids do -
Spent all their money on food, games and junk,
Jumped up and down on the bouncy castle,
Waited hours for sugar donuts,
Ate a pottle of hot chips,
Biked, raced with each other
And performed on stage.
By Room 14

I learnt how to use James K Baxter's model of The Town was Usual Enough
for the Multicultural Festival. I found it challenging to come up with the phrases or words that sounded right. Did you play Mr Cole's corn hole game and dunk the principal?

Multicultural Festival 2019

A big shout out to those students that helped Mrs Campbell on the bike track - Rajbir (senior), Emily (former student), Peyton, Ekamjot, Max, Leslie, Ivy, Izzy and Gurjot (Room 14 students).

I am so proud of the students that performed, initially nervous but did great! The Pasifika group looked amazing. Thank you Mrs Wallbank!

If you took some photos of the night would you be willing to share them with us so that we can add them?

Travelwise Celebration

I really enjoy being the Travelwise Leader at Papakura Central School. The Travelwise Team is composed of 23 students. The students have worked really hard this year. We were celebrating the year and learning how we can earn Gold for 2020. We are ready for the challenge!
